David Udelf, Psy.D.

Clinical Psychologist

Diverse experience in private practice, schools, and inpatient/outpatient treatment settings gives Dr. David Udelf a seasoned, sensible approach to his professional work. His clinical psychology work is focused on assisting children, adolescents, and adults deal with a variety of issues including: depression, anxiety, grief, family and relationship problems, behavioral and academic difficulties in school, and substance abuse.

Utilizing an approach guided by clinical research, direct client input, and common sense, Dr. Udelf specifically tailors treatment strategy to the situation at hand. Individual and/or group treatment modalities are used. Consultation with other involved professionals (psychiatric, medical, educational, legal, etc) is available with the client’s informed, written consent.

Actively involved in his community, Dr. Udelf founded Shaker (Ohio) Parents Aware (SPA), a grassroots community program combating youth substance abuse and chaired the Cherry Creek (Colorado) Task force on Substance Abuse. He served on the Board of Directors of the Shaker Heights (Ohio) Youth Center as well as the Shaker Youth Baseball League and Shaker Youth Hockey Association. Dr. Udelf has coached amateur baseball since 1971 at the Division I collegiate, high school, and summer-youth-league levels of play.
