Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness: A Practice for Moving Toward Inner Peace and Improved Health

This workshop enables you to experience how meditation can reduce anxiety and stress leading to more balanced, peaceful living, and a healthier life. The physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of meditation will be covered. We will also explore its history and the research proving its effectiveness. You will learn simple meditations that can become the foundation of your practice.

Eat light and dress in comfortable clothes. Bring your mat. Chairs will be provided. Suitable for teens through adults, both beginner and experienced meditators.
