In this gathering, we explore the feminine response to issues of spiritual longing, grief and loss, social justice, climate justice and building community.  We will draw on women mystics and feminine wisdom figures across the religious spectrum.  Our time together will include contemplative readings, brief talks, small group dialog, reflective writing exercises, inter-spiritual chanting and silent sitting practice.

Mirabai Starr is author of numerous books, including "CARAVAN OF NO DESPAIR: A Memoir of Loss and Transformation", new translations of the Spanish mystics, John of the Cross and Teresa of Avila, "The Showings of Julian of Norwich", and the award-winning "GOD OF LOVE: A Guide to the Heart of Judaism, Christianity & Islam."  A leader in the emerging inter-spiritual movement, Mirabai leads contemplative interspiritual retreats worldwide.
